From left to right- Nathun Finkhouse, Adam Hirsch, Bob Hawkins, and Ryan Bowen
Nathun Finkhouse is the lead singer, rhythm guitar player, and primary songwriter for the band. He is a founding member along with Ryan Bowen dating back to 2017 when they formed the band in Ryan's garage.
Nathun is known for his classic rock, blues, and country influences. He is also a versatile singer who can tackle a gentle ballad or a full on hard rock song.
During live shows, Nathun keeps the energy going to ensure everyone has a great night of rock 'n roll!
Ryan is the lead guitar player, backup and lead vocals, and songwriter in the band. He is a founding member of Kill the Headlights.
Ryan is a force when it comes to shredding lead guitar and masterful riffing. He transforms every song into a memorable jam by creating melodic and thoughtful guitar parts. He serves the songs with tasteful playing, but make no mistake, he can shred with the best of them. It is a guarantee that you will be in awe after one of his epic solos.
Ryan is also an accomplished songwriter in his own right and shares lead vocal duties. His playing and writing is bluesy with a taste of hard rock and country.
Adam plays bass in the band. He joined KTH in 2023 and settled in very quickly. At this point, it feels like Adam has always been in the band, and that's a testament to how quickly he learns and his ability to be a cohesive team player.
Adam is such a creative and warm musical partner and he really brings an enthusiasm and energy to the band that is so necessary.
His bass playing rounds out the sound and keeps the low end right where it needs to be. With a lead guitar background, Adam finds ways to keep his bass lines interesting with plenty of melody and movement.
Bob is drummer extraordinaire for the band while also providing the high harmony vocals. He joined in 2024 and was such a quick study that we played our first show with him in a matter of months.
As versatile as it comes, Bob is comfortable keeping the beat for anything from light, acoustic folk, to a full out rock song. With Bob gluing things together, everything is where it should be.
Bob also provides near impossible high harmonies that truly set Kill the Headlights apart from the crowd. To listen to Nathun, Ryan, and Bob sing together in harmony is truly a beatiful sound.
